I spearheaded the development of a comprehensive design system for a prominent fintech client handling over 40% of the US mortgage market. Our mission was to support multiple applications utilized by various partners, facilitating the migration of legacy desktop applications to web-based platforms. By establishing a robust design system from scratch, we aimed to accelerate the migration process while ensuring consistency and usability across diverse applications.

Key Achievements​

  • Developed a design system encompassing a wide range of UI components, from fundamental elements like buttons and typography to intricate features such as full-featured datatables and custom data visualization widgets based on d3.
  • Created libraries for essential functionalities including drag-and-drop capabilities, data manipulation tools such as tree structures, and advanced data visualization techniques.
  • Collaborated closely with the UX team to align technical solutions with design requirements, maximizing results within project timelines and resource constraints. Implemented an iterative approach to requirements analysis, breaking down project goals into manageable stages to deliver minimum viable products followed by iterative enhancements.
